2008 Yearender
Tori’s working on his yearender blog post, so I guess I should too. Okay, here’s a summary (okay, I cheated and went through my old blog posts for this month-by-month list, ‘coz to be honest, I don’t really remember everything that happened to me this year. Pardon me, if I want to include mostly accomplishments):
// here’s how it goes, the month in bold letters, and then followed by a picture of me, or something that I did during that month and a little brief (so let’s go and look for those pictures. Thank goodness for WordPress and their Media Library with Date Filter.)
January

Learned 3D modeling using Blender.
February

Valentine’s day at V’s.
March

Busy. Busy. Busy. But still a bit lazy. Watch koreanovelas. Back to busy. Busy. Busy.
The last item on my To Do list then:
5. Breathe.
April

Kromatika — our little black and white line art seek-and-find game developed using XNA.

Alien + Icecream — our little 30 second 3D animated short developed using Blender. (I’m still trying to upload the clip. Wait for it-)

Other things: both my sister’s graduated.

This is me, back in April.
May
The birth of Board Game Night!

We had our bedroom renovated.

This is me, back in May (okay, okay, it’s one of those photoshoot things that I did with my sis, so I don’t really look like that >.<).

Okay, this looks more like me. But, the star of this photo is not me (sadly…) but the purple lollie, made from polymer clay (which is one of about a dozen or so creations my sister and I did over the summer).
June

Revisions. Bloody revisions.
July

Second Life snapshot frenzy!

My mom turned 50!

This is me, back in July. This was Thesis Deadline Day.
August

My little sister turned 18!

This is me, back in August, when I was worried and basically fretting about all sorts of school works and deadlines.
September

I turned 21! (sorry for the blurry pic, I was pretty sabog by then)

This is me, wearing my Tshirt design for the ARTWORK Tshirt Design Competition. So yeah, the star of that picture is well, the shirt and not me.
October

Remember the shirt in the previous photo? Well, ‘ere it is again! As one of the 100 finalists of the competition.

Some artworks.

Brace face!

*drum roll* and Graduation!!!
November

This is me, back in November. This is me looking dorky on my first day of work
.

This is me, again, back in November. This is me making funny faces before our first international conference, where we actually presented our paper (remember the screenshot of the paper with the bloody revisions? yes, that’s the one).
December

This is me again, baking our gingerbread house.

And there we have the gingerbread house.
I guess that’s basically my year.
Happy New Year everyone!
End of 2008.
